What is a water-fed window cleaning pole?

A water-fed window cleaning pole is a tool designed to help domestic users clean high windows safely, without ladders or scaffolding. 

It consists of: 

  • telescopic pole 
  • brush head at the top 
  • An internal water hose connected to a water supply 

Water is delivered directly to the brush to loosen dirt and rinse the surface at the same time. The system also includes a soap dispenser, compatible with most window cleaning detergents. Thicker cleaning agents tend to work best under higher water pressure.

How does a water-fed window cleaning pole work?

The pole connects to a standard water source, usually a garden tap. Water flows through a hose inside the pole and exits through jets in the brush head. This allows you to scrub and rinse the surface simultaneously, removing dirt and grime efficiently.

What are the benefits of using a water-fed pole?

2. Using Your IGADPole

How do I swap the accessories on the pole?

To remove the brush head without the hose slipping out:

  1. Push in the blue end caps on the brush head
  2. Remove the brush and the tee hoses
  3. Leave the tee connection attached to the main hose
  4. Attach your new accessory (e.g. squeegee or other tool)

How do I attach the gutter cleaning tool?

For ACME poles:
  The gutter tool screws directly onto the pole using the built-in ACME connection.

For click-connect poles:

  1. Hold the angled connector
  2. Turn the IGAD hand knob counter-clockwise to loosen
  3. Remove the bolt and nut (if separated)
  4. Align the gutter tool teeth with the connector at your chosen angle
  5. Reinsert the bolt and tighten the knob clockwise by hand until secure

How do I use the soap dispenser?

  • Turn the dial towards the larger dots to increase soap flow
  • Turn it towards the smaller dots to reduce soap flow
      Adjust until the desired amount of detergent is dispensed.

3. Ordering & Delivery

How long does delivery take?

We use:

  • Parcelforce 48 for standard deliveries
  • UPS for very large items
  • Royal Mail for small accessories

Your tracking number will be included in your dispatch confirmation email.

Can I pay by phone or BACS?

No. All orders must be placed online so we can allocate the correct courier and provide tracking information.

Are prices inclusive of VAT?

Yes. All prices on our website include VAT, as we are an UK-based company.

Can I collect my order?

Yes. Collection is available from our Birmingham warehouse, but orders must still be placed online first. Please contact Customer Services to arrange collection.

I am unsure which product to buy. Can you help?

Yes. Contact us by email and we will be happy to help. Useful details include:

  • Height of your house and windows
  • Whether you have a conservatory
  • Whether you plan to clean solar panels

What if the product I want is out of stock?

You can request an email notification on the product page to be informed when it is back in stock.

Can I cancel or change my order?

You must contact Customer Services by email as soon as possible. Once an order has been dispatched, it is very difficult to cancel or amend.

Do you deliver internationally?

At present, we do not deliver outside the UK and Republic of Ireland.

What happens if I am not at home during delivery?

Couriers will not leave parcels unattended. They may:

  • Leave the parcel with a neighbour, or
  • Leave a delivery card with instructions for redelivery or collection

My delivery has not arrived. What should I do?

First, check your tracking information to see if the parcel:

  • Has been left with a neighbour
  • Is scheduled for redelivery

If you are still unable to locate it, contact Customer Services for assistance.

4. Instructions, Issues & Warranty

I have lost my product instructions. What should I do?

Contact Customer Services and we will email you a copy of the user guide.

What should I do if my goods are damaged, incomplete or faulty?

Please email Customer Services with:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photos of the fault or missing items

  We will arrange replacements or missing parts as quickly as possible.

My pole segments have become detached. What should I do?

Avoid applying excessive force when extending the pole. If a segment becomes detached:

  • Refer to the pole manual for guidance on use and maintenance
  • Watch the instructional video linked in the manual or on our support page

What does the warranty cover?

The warranty covers manufacturing defects within the warranty period, including:

  • Faulty components
  • Structural defects
  • Shipping damage

It does not cover misuse, neglect or normal wear and tear.

How long do I have to report defects or request a return?

All defects or return requests must be reported within 30 days of receipt.

5. Returns & Refunds

What if I am unhappy with my purchase?

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. To qualify:

  • Products must be returned in saleable condition
  • Original packaging and instructions must be included
  • The dispatch note should be enclosed

Returned postage costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty.

I have returned an item but have not received my refund.

Please contact Customer Services and provide the return tracking number.
